Aries to Speak at NISO Virtual Conference – The User Experience: Just Fix It

Aries is pleased to have been invited to participate at the National Information Standard Organization (NISO) virtual conference The User Experience: Just Fix It on Wednesday, January 26^th.

The event, which will be hosted via Zoom from 12pm – 4pm ET, will cover the importance, challenges, and benefits of user experience (UX). Following a welcome from NISO Executive Director, Todd Carpenter, attendees will hear from several industry professionals and consultants as they discuss resources, gaps, and case studies of enhancing the user experience while accounting for technical debt, costs, and time.

From 3:00pm-3:30pm ET, Aries VP of Product Management, Nathan Westgarth, will present an overview of Aries’ UI/UX redesign initiative for our workflow management solutions, Editorial Manager® (EM) and ProduXion Manager® (PM). This presentation will provide insights into our strategic approach, key areas of focus, prioritization of accessibility standards, and examples of recently redesigned interfaces driven by user feedback.
