At the June Aries Industry Advisory Board (AIAB) meeting, Alice Meadows, Director of Community Engagement, NISO and SSP President (2021-22), joined as our guest speaker, leading an exploratory discussion on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in scholarly publishing. Board members from leading industry organizations shared their current and future ideas and plans on how to care for DEI in their businesses and the industry at large.

PRW 2021, held from September 20th-24th, will be dedicated to the theme “Identity in Peer Review,” as selected via an international survey opened to the publishing community earlier this year. More than 35 participating organizations are collaborating to organize this global event.
