Aries Systems’ multi-year, multi-phase user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) redesign initiative for Editorial Manager® (EM) and ProduXion Manager® (PM) is driven by user feedback and our commitment to delivering best-in-class workflow management solutions. Aries is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of a redesigned Reviewer Selection Summary page within EM.

Updates to the Reviewer Selection Summary page are designed to offer a modernized, simplified, and intuitive experience that results in streamlined workflow and quicker turnaround times for Editors during the Reviewer Invitation process.

The updated design offers a fresh look and improves the usability of some of the Reviewer Selection Summary page’s functions. Rather than selecting Search Types through drop-down menus and radio buttons, Editors can now easily search and filter for candidate Reviewers across sources in a convenient, tab-style layout. Additionally, links to key system settings within the Invite Reviewers Menu on the left-hand side panel now open consistently as a pop-up window overlay when selected. Within the Reviewer Status table, handy color-coded indicators are displayed to represent completed, accepted, invited, or declined Reviewer assignment statuses, serving as quick visual aids for Editors. With the introduction of a new “Send Reminder” button within the table, Editors can now send reminders to Reviewers directly from the Reviewer Selection Summary page.

As part of Aries’ 23.02 software release, the redesigned Reviewer Selection Summary page will be automatically enabled on all Editorial Manager sites on February 22, 2023.
