Register for the EAR Webinar Series
The shift to online events has provided organizations with the ability to reach a wider, more diverse audience globally. Aries Systems’ recent user group meetings were held virtually, allowing us to offer many insightful sessions and workshops to our entire user community at once. In response to this shift and feedback received from our users, Aries will be hosting an Enterprise Analytics Reporting (EAR) webinar series in early 2022 in lieu of our traditional European Editorial Manager User Group Meeting (EEMUG)!
The two-part EAR webinar series is designed to educate both beginner and veteran Editorial Manager® (EM) and ProduXion Manager® (PM) users on basic and advanced reporting concepts. Aries Data Analytics Specialist Michael Hambloch will cover various use cases, techniques, and key tips and tricks to help publications optimize their reporting practices within EM/PM’s built-in EAR module. Both training sessions will be offered free of charge – register below!
EAR Reporting: Finding the Right Data Sources
Wednesday, February 2nd | 10am ET | Register Now
The fundamentals of how to curate the right data source(s) among the dozens of tables and views within EAR serve as a foundation for building the majority of reports in EM/PM. This session will provide an overview of the most useful data sources for building Manuscript-, Author-, Editor-, Reviewer- and/or Production-centric reports. As data can be structured differently between tables and views, we will discuss the different layouts and meanings of the data.
EAR Reporting: Overview of Joins
Wednesday, February 9th | 10am ET | Register Now
Publications often need to enrich or tighten a report using additional data contained within a different view. Using Joins, publications can use information from different sources to combine data using a common field or filter data to narrow the output. This informative session will provide in-depth definitions of Inner and Outer (left) Joins, draw parallels to relatable analogies, demo example use cases, and offer an introduction to some underused options for Joins reporting.
