Reviewer Discovery update
ProQuest announced today that its Pivot database is now further integrated with ORCID.
In 2014, the researcher profile database enabled optional entry and storage of ORCID iDs, and now, if researchers opt for their publishing activity to automatically update within their ORCID record, the same will be true for their Pivot profile. This reduces the amount of time it would otherwise take researchers to keep both records up to date, and thus most useful.
Pivot is the database in use by Editorial Manager’s Reviewer Discovery tool, which puts the curated profiles (and email addresses) of over 3.5 million scholars at editors’ fingertips, to invite for participation in peer review activity.
