Brill to extend Editorial Manager to all 150 journals
June 01, 2011 North Andover, MA, USA – Brill, an academic publisher founded in 1683 and based in Leiden (The Netherlands) and Boston (USA), began implementing EM on a limited basis in 2006 to improve operations for its humanities, science, and law journals.
Based on positive feedback, Brill extended its deployment in 2010. Marjon Jekel, EM Coordinator at Brill said, “The initial deployment allowed us to fully appreciate EM’s configurability and the benefits of the software-as-a-service model. EM has provided the flexibility to ideally meet our organizational and individual journal needs.”
To date, 45 Brill journals have gone live with EM and another 20 are in the pipeline. The publisher plans to bring all 150 of its journals online with the workflow solution. For more information on Brill and its journals please visit www.brill.nl/journals. A few of the Brill journal EM sites are European Journal of Health Law, Journal of Early American History, and Journal of Adhesion Science and Technology.
