Gastroenterology introduces online Author fee processing with great success
September 23, 2011 North Andover, MA, USA – In January 2011, the American Gastroenterological Association journal, Gastroenterology, implemented submission and page charges. To do so, Aries Systems’ increasingly popular Commerce Manager was seamlessly integrated into the journal’s pre-existing Editorial Manager submission web site.
According to Christopher Lowe, AGA Assistant Managing Editor, “The outcome has surpassed our expectations. Commerce Manager was installed quickly and is easy for Authors and journal staff to use; the fees collected provide a valuable revenue boost to the society; and there has been an acceptable decline in the number of submissions.”
