For several years, Aries Systems’ partnership with Atlas Co, Ltd. has facilitated support of Editorial Manager and Preprint Manager in Japan. The relationship continues successfully, with nearly twice as many J-STAGE (Japan Science and Technology) journals projected to launch EM in 2012 as did in 2011. Through Atlas, many independent journals have also adopted EM and its Japanese language interface and toggle, such as the Japanese Journal of Thrombosis and Hemostasis: http://www.edmgr.com/jjsth.

For the support of its customers, Atlas is organizing the first Japanese Editorial Manager User Group Meeting, which will be held on September 28, 2012 in Tokyo. The agenda is packed with informative sessions on new and upcoming EM features, Preprint Manager, and Commerce Manager – plus an interactive workshop and a Q&A component.
