Did you know? Reviewer comments can be shared in Editorial Manager
In EM, journals can optionally share reviewer identities, reviewer comments, and decision letters with other reviewers. This means that EM supports the most common “open” peer review workflows where reviewers are allowed to see each other’s comments. So as to avoid confirmation bias, journals typically only share reviewer comments at time of decision. Sharing of reviewer comments is a Role Manager permission, so please contact your Account Coordinator if you need assistance with this configuration option.
