Holzforschung, published by Walter de Gruyter, is an international scholarly journal that publishes cutting-edge research on the biology, chemistry, physics and technology of wood and wood components. In 2008 Impact Factor of Holzforschung increased to 1.278 (now it ranks #3 of 18 in Materials Science, Paper & Wood).
