After beta testing and gamma deployment over the past few months, Aries Systems is pleased to report the second major release of Editorial Manager and Preprint Manager in 2011.
Version 8.2 integrates many useful features, such as:
- more customization of manuscript PDF cover page for a comprehensive metadata summary sheet, with multiple configurable layouts
- ability to attach files (from within EM or from a local computer) to ad hoc emails
- automated editor reminders which now permit journals to send, in a single email, categorized summaries of assignments with assignment counts and days outstanding
