Editorial Manager can be configured to permit Authors to “Suggest Reviewers” during manuscript submission. Some journals find that providing Authors’ recommendations saves Editors time and may increase the relevance of reviews.

Editors can easily find and assign suggested Reviewers by selecting “Suggested by Author” from the Reviewer Search drop-down box. If suggested Reviewers are not already in the journal database, it only takes a few clicks for the Editor to register and invite the new Reviewer.
