At the recent ORCID Outreach Meeting, Richard Wynne, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Aries, presented Aries’ phased implementation of ORCID and discussed potential benefits of ORCID integration with journal workflow.

Wolters Kluwer, Public Library of Science (PLoS), and Springer Science+Business Media announced that they will be early adopters of ORCID in conjunction with Editorial Manager.

In the last newsletter, we asked readers to tell us which is their preferred standard for identification (ISNI, ORCID, PubMed Author ID, Researcher ID, or Scopus ID). Though responses to the survey were sparse, all respondents selected ORCID.
