Tim Houle, an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Neurology at Wake Forest Medical School, has developed an automated tool for assessing the statistical integrity of a manuscript.
StatReviewer scans the manuscript using thousands of algorithms and finds sentences and document sections where required information is missing (e.g., no primary outcome has been defined). Based on this scan, the system generates a report that has been specifically designed to look and feel like a standard peer review.
