Aries Systems announces partnership with the Korean Association of Medical Journal Editors Press
KAMJE Press, which is operated by XMLink, is the publishing component of the KAMJE, a membership association with 256 member journals. KAMJE Press supports over 70 journals, and will kick-off the transition to EM for submission and peer review this summer.
“We are delighted to implement Editorial Manager thus extending the global reach of workflow, and increasing the flexibility of KAMJE Press offerings,” said Inhong Choi, President of KAMJE.
Hye-Sook Jang, CEO of XMLink added, “EM adoption puts collection of ORCID and CRediT within journals’ reach.”
“This partnership is a win-win for Aries and KAMJE Press that will benefit journals, as well as the increasingly global group of editors, reviewers and authors associated with these titles,” said Aries’ Client Development Manager, Jason De Boer.
KAMJE Press journals using EM will also benefit from local language support made available through the Korea-based XMLink.
KAMJE was inaugurated on February 22, 1996. The aim of KAMJE is to promote the quality of medical journals published in Korea by exchanging publication and editing information as well as discussing editorial policies. To effectively disseminate the medical information from Korea, KAMJE has established and maintained the KoreaMed, a searching system of manuscripts from medical journals. The members of the Association are composed of editors of each medical journal and invited members. KAMJE is financially supported by the annual membership dues and additionally by the Korean Academy of Medical Science. Explore the KAMJE at www.kamje.or.kr.
